Nothing too new or interesting with very little to separate it from the literally thousands of animations of the same type. Red vs. Blue stick fighting is arguable the most cliche, overused genre on Newgrounds.

Despite its lack of originality, this is not a terrible flash. Most of the fighting was mediocre, awkward, generic, and ultimately very average looking. Movement was not particularly crisp and I would not use the word 'smooth' to describe any of the action. That said, some sequences were very well done (particularly the meteor strike).

Overall:
This is an average flash based around an overused style. The redeeming qualities are few and far between, but the good parts are enough for me to pass it.

Thanks man, I know it's slightly cliche, It's really because I've been practising a lot with stick figure animations, thanks for the feedback and Yeah Il'l keep at it.

It is very easy to make a Madness flick with the use of the Madness Combat resources download. Because the sprites are at your fingertips, all the animator has to do is put them where he wants and animate them.

This submission is proof that even then it is possible to make an absolutely terrible movie. Not only was it a mere15 seconds, but hardly anything happened in that time. The majority of the animation, in fact 9 of the 15 seconds, was of the hero walking from one room to another.

The environments were completely and totally bland. Contrary to the title, there was no conceivable 'story' at all. The animation was choppy at best and unbearable at worst. A hodge-podge of almost every noobish stereotype, this animation deserves to be blamed.

If you're not going to put some originality into your flash, at least make sure what you do is done right.

What's the point?

To be honest, I'm not sure why you're uploading this. The entire animation sequence lasts literally less than two seconds. I cannot think of a reason to upload it unless you plan to expand on it later. In that case, why not just wait until then to put it on?

I will say that in order for anyone to be an above-average animator, you must posses some kind of drawing skill. I see that here. It is well shaded, stylized, simple yet not bad looking. The fact that this was done on paper also earns my respect. The animation and drawing are pretty solid.

That said, I do not see any reason to upload a 1.5 second hiccup animation. I will pass it simply because of the potential I see here. If it gets blamed, it is not a critique of the actual animation as much as it is the lack of more.

This is clearly one of your first animations, and there's no shame in that. Most animators agree that it is not necessary to upload the first decent movie you make. Take time to practice and make sure you're uploading something because you believe it's good, not because you believe it's good enough to pass.

The scenes change so quickly that it's very difficult to decipher what is going on. The overall feeling I came away with is jumbled, confused...To be honest, I could not tell that there was any fighting going on until the very end. To solve this problem, add more frames to each movement to slow things down.

Overall-
This is not a terrible movie and I realize frame-by-frame animations are not easy. That said, I do not believe that it is worthy to be passed. Stick fighting is extremely cliche and in order to pass, the animation must be very good or unique.

Keep at it!

Anyone else

Remember the days before NG had pre-video ads? What the hell...that's something I never thought would end up on the site.

As far as the animation: well done; simple, yet effective. Very funny.

Just as good as I remember

I remember watching these back when I regularly visited Newgrounds in the mid-2000s. It was nice to see a familiar series on the front page my first time visiting in a year or so.

I enjoyed the stylized explosions and the gore was well done. It flowed smoothly and I found the deaths to be satisfying enough.

Over Nine-Thousand!

This video touched me in places I shouldn't be touched.

One thing I didn't like though is how you used your knowledge of fruits which was found to be mean, offensive, or generally not helpful.

Cool

Simple, yet cool.

Good animation and shizzle, I liked it.

One thing I didn't like, however, is the fact that in the end you used scare tactics to trick your voters into unprotected anal space meant to be offensive or generally not helpful

Funny!

Really reminds me a lot of a Retarted Policeman video I saw floating on the internet one time. Very funny, the voice acting was waht maed this flash halarios!

Funny

I enjoyed it. People who gave it under a 5 have no taste and no concept of the amount of work involved in making and putting together a collab.
GJ!

Thanks creeed12! It was time for someone to take a stand, and I'm glad it was you and not me. They scare the hell out of me... {:0

This account was created in 2005. I've kept everything pretty much the same aside from basic profile updates. In 2005 I was around 11 years old and many of the earlier reviews reflect this. I am no longer a regular on this site, but still enjoy it.
